Lauren Kim Roche a best selling New Zealand author, public speaker and physician is one such person. Her story is an amazing inspirational insight into the resilience of the human spirit when life's challenges seem overwhelming.

In her autobiographies Bent Not Broken and Life On The Line, Dr. Roche describes her turbulent childhood and adolescence as she struggles to deal with sexual abuse and her life as stripper and prostitute, before she turns her life around ... returning to high school and university, eventually graduating as a medical doctor.
